Central International Airport Nale smashed the glass and took his first shots. The dark one reeled as the rounds hit him full on. The older guy grabbed his feet and pulled him behind a tree.
A dirty blonde head appeared above the bushes on Kanya's side. She steadied her hand on the window sill and aimed. The guy got it straight between the eyes.
The older guy was now trying to make a run toward the house. Despite his zig-zagging, Nale took him out with only a short blast. The third man retreated, and they heard an engine start up and drive away.
Kanya wondered what had happened to the second guy on her side. Had he driven off with his mate? Or was he still out there?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
