It was broken down, like a house in side of a horror movie. "It's not much, but it''s home." Nate said. That's when she noticed it, the scar. "My God. You're him. The FBI agent." she said. "Well look who remembers some of their victims." Nate said rolling his eyes. "The only reason you aren't dead right now buttercup, is because I'm not dead." "Can I at least get some respect ? I saved your life !" I Kanya said. Nate smiled at her, and laughed. Kanya pushed down a smile also. "Look, why don't you get some sleep. If Raul comes, he's dead, okay ?" Nate said. "You and I both know it takes a more then a bullet to kill Raul." Kanya said. "Oh stop being a baby." Nate said. Kanya walked off muttering under her breath.
Kanya woke up to the smell of bacon. She trotted into the kitchen. Nate burst into laughter. "Shut up. We all don't look we stepped off of a Playboy magazine cover when we wake up." Kanya growled. "Here you go Buttercup." he said. He gave Kanya some slices of bacon. "Thank you." she said. "Oh look, the dangerous assassin's girlfriend has some manners !" Nate said. "Seems the FBI agent had to learn to cook." Kanya said. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry for hurtin' your feelings okay ?" Nate said. "How did you even get tangled up with Raul and his gang ?" Kanya sighed and looked out the window. "Wouldn't you know ? You are an FBI agent." "Look, there are some rumors, but nothing big." "I was a teenager, when I met Raul." Kanya started. "We were young and dumb. I had always been interested in the marital arts and had my hunting permit since my father owned a gun. Long story short, when he became a crime lord I became his assassin." Nate nodded and went back to eating.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
