He gave me a little black case before he died. They were after it and he said he was able to give them the slip with the other package. I think it must be part of the Russian moffia. I have read about them," she said.
"What is in the case?"
"I have not opened it yet," she said.
"Open it," Amdrew said.
She pulled it out of her bad and flipped the black case open. Lined with black velevet was the most stunning large cut diamond she has ever seen. "Wow," she said. "it is a huge diamond."
"Oh, this is not good. You are in danger now my love."
"Am I going to get my drink now or what?"
"I will be there in 5 min. We need to come up with a game plan. If we go to the police, they will confiscate it. The reacords will reveal you as a souce and the moffia can find out who you are. That is not good. We should not be talking on the phone. I will pick you and and we can go from there, Andrew said"
He hung up. She was a little distressed by what he had said. Why had she ever accepted his ride. He was too cool and cute. Was Andrew who he said he was? Why did he ask here if the guy had talked to her and why did he run off after that car. He should have just been a good samaritan. She woiuld ask him all of this when he got there.
Her wait was not long. As she got to the corner with the didm street lights glaring, she heard the bike coming up. She stepped out to the curb. There was Andrew. He was handsom as ever. She just wanted to be sitting behind him again.
He pulled up and said, "Another ride miss Jessica?"
"Why yes Andrew. Let's go to the pub.
"That sounds like a good idea.
"I will show you the diamond when it is safe. I have it in my bag."
"We need to write out a plan. Let's eat and go to my place or yours and sort out what to do."
"You don't waist time do you?"
"No I don't," Andrew said with a gorgeous smile before he faced forward and took off with her behind him again.
