Central International Airport Chapter #13It is her friend Sarah by: leoofmo   She hears Sarah on the other end sobbing heavily.
"Sarah, are you ok," Jessica says.
"Yes, I am.
"Why are you crying then?"
"Widsor is leaving me. He is moving back to Texas for good. He says he will not live with me anymore. He got his old job back in Houston and is not going to be coming back home. I can not believe this. I am going to have to rent a car to get back. It is as if I am stranded. I still have a few weeks left of my vacation and I am standed in Houston. I feel so miserable," Sarah said.
"I is ok. Don't worry. Is everything set up for your house."
"Yes, the adjustor just left. He is giving me 25,000 for the damages. So everything is set and my parents can continue to live here. I don't know what to do though," she manages to say through a huge sob.
"It is ok," Jessica says with a concerned look as she looks up to Andrew. "I am eating with some one at a pub right now. How about you take a taxi to a nice resurant and eat something. You will feel better. I will call back in a little bit and we can figure something out. You have plenty of options. Maybe you can meet me in Paris," Jessica said.
"But you are not in Paris. You are in London," Sarah reminded Jessica.
"Yes, I know,"Jessica says as the bartender brings her and Andrew their drink. Jessica takes a drink of the cool liquid and says, Well, if you want you can come here then but I am not sure I will be here long. I will call you back," Jessica said softly.
"Ok, I would like to spend some time with you then. Bye," Sarah said and the other end went silent.
Andrew was a little amazed. "Your friend is having man problems huh? Do you think it is wise to invite her here at this time? he said.
"Well, I did not know what to say to her. She has been with him for seven years and he dumps her in Houston leaving her high and dry. He owes her a lot of money and she will not see any of it now I am sure," Jessida said.
Thw waitress comes just then with Jessica's chili and mushy peas and sets them in front of her.
"I am just saying that after that episode back there we don't know what will happen yet," Andrew said.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
