*BalloonR**ConfettiP*HI SoCalScribe, I am here with a review to celebrate you in your 10th year! Congratulations! *Star*

Wow! The theme such a relevant topic and very enlightening as a teaching tool as well. You have presented it in a very clear manner by including a visual representation of the two formatting styles. I can really see the difference and did appreciate the second more organized version. I had to smile at the way you make a point! Good show!

The article is written in professional manner with touches of humour, that adds entertainment value. eg>"such an exciting topic" *Smile* and " a smiley face in a novel?"

Your introduction states your thesis and main reasons for formatting well and what follows backs up your thinking effectively.

I had no glitches in reading it aloud. The points were clear and instructive and I really appreciate the time and effort you took to explain and exemplify using tools like colour, size, etc. Very easy to understand and the specific details are purposeful.

It is a comprehensive report that could benefit newbies immensely and serve as a reminder for me as well. I had forgotten about the spacing and the info on paragraphing In WDC is handy to know as I have seen issues in this area. Cool idea to actually space that paragraph differently to illustrate the topic.

I appreciate you adding rationale for using each of these features. It makes it more convincicng and gives folks ideas they may not hav considered, especially if they are new to WDC writing. Adding comments about "publishing" is helpful too. eg. Like not using colour and how you do have to format for manuscripts etc. It is good practice.

Providing such a comparison here might really help new authors-er -or typers here-get a clear picture and understanding. I did skim the first version--glad I had the other to study. thanks for the warning a in the author's note! *Thumbsup* You are right --the words are exactly the same even the typos! *Laugh*
I am going to add it to my favourites to pass to newbies.

I couldn't see any errors but did find a typo; "crate" for "create eye strain"" in paragraph size section. And "text o1n the screen " under Emoticons. also I don't think you need the "or" in "or an asterix"--way too many or's in this line. *Wink*

I did find the first sentence in the last paragraph a rather long mouthful starting from "with manuscript..submissions".

I loved the author's note that ties back to the warning at the start. And I agree, the eye is even drawn to the second layout.

This article is well organized and stayed on topic, covering the basis in a straighforward manner. Your writing voice made it interesting and light to read, even though I knew some of the info.

Thanks for sharing this very relevant and useful contribution to WDC community. *Star*
