I loved how you concluded your poem. So true! I find this with some of Mary Oliver's poems... and have even found it with some of yours. That's some great company to be in! Well done!

I think this was my favorite set of lines (I tried to make it one... but the best I could do was two ): "The poet, an evolving creature,
has phoenix wings and a child's soul." The second line spoke to me strongly, and it needs the first to really make sense. I love the comparisons. Well done!
