About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. Kiya's gift. I love it!

A Review From The Iron Bank Of Braavos

Hi Joy. I am Megan, one of the sly foxes.

Title: Use Of Characters In Dramatic Scenes

First Impression: Characters are important in romance, comedy, crime and every genre. I wanted to read your views so I stopped by and started reading. I was hooked from the first sentence and read this all the way through. I am familiar with your work and style as well as your creativity. I smiled as I read this. We say what a character. It takes on a whole new meaning.

What needs your attention: I know this is about characters in Drama but I was hoping to see romance. Dramatic characters are in romance, too but I think this applies to all characters in a dramatic situation. This is a go.

What part I liked best: Dean Koontz talking about Elvis's ghost. Each dramatic scene should belong to a character. Good call. Daphne du Maurier's character Rebecca stuck a chord with me as it refreshed what I remember about her. Attitude is important in a dramatic scene. Good call.

Overall Impression: You did your research well, had experience writing this and held the reader's interest. Looks like you put your heart in this. A great presentation.

It has been my pleasure.
