A Review From The Iron Bank Of Braavos
Title: How Thanksgiving Became A Holiday
Hi Joy: I am Megan, one of the sly foxes.
First Impression: I knew Thanksgiving didn't become a holiday right away. I remember the first Thanksgiving. Not that I was there. I didn't know Lincoln made it a holiday. God bless Lincoln. I was curious and had to read this so I sat down and read this. Here are my thoughts and observations.
What needs your attention: I can't think of anything. It looks like you have got this covered. Looks like you researched this. No mistakes or anything.
What part I liked best: Lincoln making this a holiday. Sarah Joseph Buell Hal getting Lincoln to make this a holiday. People adding their own special holiday ingredients to make the meal better. I never liked the early settlers being called pilgrims. Colonists seem more appropriate.
Overall Impression: Looks like you researched this. The details were well defined and this is easy to follow. Creative and colorful. The menu wasn't much back there but they shot and killed their own food. A good presentation and a good style. This holds the reader's interest. I have always enjoyed Thanksgiving. It is a heartfelt celebration.
