About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. Kiya's gift. I love it!

Hello, Beholden!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* You wrote a thoughtful and personally interesting blog post that made me appreciate you even more.

*Bulletg* You kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I read this blog post sometime in the past and loved it, but didn't have time to comment or review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "June" file. *Smile* ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting.

*Bulleto* I heartily agreed with almost everything you wrote. The one exception being that you didn't think you were "making the world a better place" as per the prompt. You absolutely are! Not only by all the things you mentioned, but just by being wonderful you. You have brightened so many of my days here and I am sure that you brighten many others' days as well. And that's just a sliver of your life. I'm sure you make a positive difference in the lives of all of your loved ones too. I believe that making a difference in even one life makes the world a better place, so you 100% are doing that, in my opinion. *Heart*

*Bulleto* It's hard for regular people to make a difference on a global scale, and I like that your mind went there anyway. You're right. Even if we aren't making a huge, global difference, at least we aren't hurting on a global level either. I appreciate and admire all the ways you contribute to the planet and others' lives and all the thought you put into this post. I wish more people thought the way you do, especially about education.

*Bulleto* I loved that you are "of the belief that one should clean her own house first before finding fault or trying to make other people clean their houses. This applies to the countries and the globe." I totally agree. And I admire that you live out the values you promote.

*Bulleto* You presented a lot of different and excellent ideas in this blog post and communicated them concisely and clearly. I appreciate the time and thought you put into this post (and all of your posts).

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your blog post.

*Bulleto* I thought the genres you selected were perfect for this blog of yours in general and this post in particular too.

*Bulleto* I loved the thumbnail photo you selected for this blog. It's very beautiful and relaxing.

*Bulleto* Congratulations on the three beautiful awardicons (shield and ribbon) adorning this blog. They are well deserved!

*Bulleto* To anyone else reading this review - this is a great blog to follow.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done! *Clap*

CONCLUSION:
*Bulletv* You have a great and personable writing style and I enjoyed reading your philosophical yet practical blog post.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart, spirit, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler
