About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. Kiya's gift. I love it!

*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Invalid Item*CakeP*

Hello, Joy!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* Wow! You wrote a fantastic poem celebrating your twenty-third anniversary here -and- you incorporated all the prompt words so seamlessly! Well done!

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary day and month! I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting.

*Bulleto* You are so worth celebrating and I'm happy to see you being celebrated by many people all over Writing.Com today! Your own poem, the feature of this review, is the perfect thing for celebrating you! I love that you wrote it today, on your anniversary, and that you are celebrating yourself too. You are providing a beautiful example of personal celebration and self respect. *Heart*

*Bulleto* I loved that you not only wrote a themed poem celebrating your anniversary and included all of those random prompt words, but you also made it rhyme! That added to the fun feeling of your celebratory poem for me.

*Bulleto* I wondered if there's a contest or challenge here that you could enter this lovely poem in? Maybe Rachel / Choconut 's "Shadows and Light" contest?

*Bulleto* I loved the ending. Probably the last stanza was my favorite because it made me smile widely and nod my head. This is a wonderful "site of friendship!" I am so glad you've enjoyed 23 years here! I didn't find out about the site until 2018 and then I lurked a little before joining, but I doubt it was even a week before finding out about it and joining... and I've been hooked ever since. *Smile* You are one of the lovely people who made me feel welcome from the beginning and I thank you for that and for being wonderful you! *Heart*

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your celebratory poem.

*Bulleto* I thought the genres you selected were perfect for this celebratory poem and the entire blog of yours.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done! *Clap*

CONCLUSION:
*Bulletv* You have a great writing style and I greatly enjoyed reading your celebratory poem.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time (for twenty three years!), creativity, heart, spirit, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler
