You really managed to pack a lot of humor and interesting things into a short blog post. I was really happy that you posted this on the raid review day. I knew I wanted to review something by you and the first thing I clicked was a winner.

I don't think I could have done the walk to the hotel with the suitcases and the tiles. Good for you for managing that! How incredible that Annette was way back there. That was a hilarious twist of fate ... for this reader. Probably not for you. Like you said though, at least you didn't have your suitcases to drag for the trip to see her and then get back to your hotel.

My favorite line was (regarding the acrony, TGV, for anyone besides you who might read this review): "Far as I'm concerned, they stand for Train Go Vwhooosh!" That made me smile. You do a great job infusing humor throughout your blog posts in general (not just this one), and this is a great example.

I was so happy that you and Annette got to meet in France! How exciting! I also thought it was super that you already knew each other fairly well. I think you were smart to know your drinking limits and stick to soft drinks after your beer fest.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your blog post. In fact, I don't think I've *ever* noticed a mistake in any of your blog posts. At least not one that wasn't intentional. Wild. I make lots of mistakes.

I especially liked the inclusion of the photo of you and Annette, and that you noted it was posted with permission. I loved that there were signs of France in the background, and my favorite part was your faces.

I thought the Personal, Opinion, and Experience genres you selected were appropriate for this blog post (and overall blog) of yours.
