Hallo LoneKrampuswolf ! I will be reviewing your work
Content:
What?? You mean to tell me that all this time Santa's hands don't magically get cleaned after each house visit? You learn something new everyday on these internets, I tell you.
Seriously though, this was a fun take on the usual night-before-Christmas tales where Santa has to find himself staring at yet another plate of cookies and cup of milk (poor guy must be praying for something different after all this time). And guess what? So does our young protagonist, for his thoughtful actions end up being just the thing the jolly fellow in the red suit always needed.
This story follows the antics of eight-year-old Noah, who has fun preparing for Santa's visit, only instead of the usual, he tosses in a few extra necessities that even has the reader nodding in agreement.
The tone of this story reminds me of a traditional children's picture book story as you paint each scene vividly; giving sound as well to each action taking place. We can hear Santa's laugh and his delight at his presents, same with Noah's reaction when he sees the notes left behind.
Makes me wonder, as Santa continues his visit to Noah's home each year, if their relationship continues as the boy becomes a teen and then a man. Now that would be a fun story to write - one where Santa shows up to Noah's house...only this time, Noah is a father! Something to think about, eh?
Thanks for the wonderful Christmas story. It was a pleasure to read.
My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
