Longing For You
Longing For You
Every second that turns to minute ,
I remember those times we said, "We'll not quit"
Those days we said, "We won't be apart."
And sworn, "'Till death do as part."
Every minute that turns to hour,
I remember those times we said, “Love is ours.“
But if I'll go and dig our glorious past,
I'll only find these fake words you said, "My love will forever last."
Every hour that turns to day,
I remember those times we said, “We'll stay.”
Yet these are worthless 'cause you're no longer mine
The moment you left me behind.
Every day that turns to night,
I remember those times you said, “I hold you tight.”
I miss the time you lay on my bed
And promised that we will soon wed.
Every night that turns to weeks,
I remember those moments you kissed my cheeks.
I miss your touch, your tenderest caress
And the way you dances with that lovely dress.
Every week that turns to months,
I remember how gracefully you flaunts
Your well-proportioned body - your teasing allure
And those enticing gaits I failed to endure.
Every month that turns to years,
I still hear your whispers and feel each tickle on my ears.
Yes, I'm still longing for you My Dear
And still love you all these years.
