Fingers stirring wishing stars
as dandelion seeds dance on a breeze
while cartwheeling snowflakes catch
golden glints of midnight sun.
Moon-shadowed rivers
reflect lightning inspirations
as the orchestra plays unwritten music and
a ballerina grows butterfly wings.
Apple-cinnamon and marshmallow moments
over a fire with iridescent green flames
and a meadowlark sings or mountain passes
while elephants trumpet pink lemonade.
Peach organdy fireflies and sleepy morning madness,
seductive lover entwined in a deep belly laugh of
chocolate kisses and sunflower thunder,
where cat’s eyed marbles tumble upstairs and down rain spouts.
Beginnings: magical meanderings
limited only by imagination where
with a flick of a smile or a sweep of angel's wing—
anything is possible.
