Sail on, Oh paperboat! Set sail, Oh Paperboat
How far the drift could take you?
Waves might wreck your fragile folds
And crush you midst a storm.
Sail on, Oh paperboat!
To land so far away,
Bring forth your heavy fraught
Of stories left untold.
Sail on, Oh paperboat!
To the place I once belong.
May you firmly hold
Those words I dearly wrote.
Sail on, Oh paperboat!
To the place I've given breath.
Let them know how much I miss
Their loving, tender care.
Sail on, Oh paperboat!
To the place I sew my dreams.
Tell them how I feel
Everytime I think of them.
Sail on, Oh paperboat!
Steadfast your tiny mast,
As you breast the sea's trembling crust.
May the waves not harm you
But take you to ashore.
Sail on, Oh dear paperboat!
Uphold those dreams I carefully etched
That neither a word be wiped
Nor be blurred, especially the words
To them, I've never uttered.
Sail on, Oh sail on!
Never ever cast away those dreams
Lest, I'd never get another chance
To tell them what I ever dream to say.
