Every minute of the day, Every day of the year, Like a merry minstrel's song, Your tender voice I hear. It sings to me sweetly, I love you over again, I know deep inside my heart, You’re my closest friend. I give you all I have to give, You’re the only one I love, Forever will I know that you, Were sent by God above. If you find a little humor, In these heartfelt words I write, If a smile should overcome you, Well, That would be alright. For it's much more important, That your happiness I care, Ahead of all the tea in China, Greater than all fair maidens there.
