Writing poetry allows me to exercise my imagination and share it with others. I strive to write for the benefit of the reader using carnival fun mirror images of my life's experiences.

Some souls exist but don't know why, Some live long lives just to get high, I choose to play like a lone child, Not wasted whole but chillin' mild. My sweet sis toils long as she can, I'd put up sleep as my health plan, Won't sweat on the pavement all day long, I come to you happily singing a song. I'll play with white magic if I wish, I'll have apple pie as a side dish, I'll choose the sites I wish to haunt, I'll do almost anything I want. One with the key to love comes round, Yet I'd remain unwillingly bound, Our destiny had long been sold, We'd found unattainable gold. So if you choose to walk away, Don't wait a while, do it today, Sad and dismal as it might seem, It's best, to keep one's self-esteem.
