Earworms
"Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip,"
A syndicated theme in his repeating dream,
How he wanted to sink that ship.

Don't give a damn 'bout a sailing man,
The skipper can go to hell,
He hopes and prays to find a way,
This idiot song to quell,
This idiot song to quell.

A very old friend recommended he,
Wear a rubber strap,
When that same tune popped into his head,
His bare skin he'd snap,
His bare skin he'd snap.

Every time he hummed that same ol' song,
He gave a painful flick,
When he grew to enjoy the pain he knew,
He'd need another trick,
He'd need another trick.

Since that didn't work he searched to find,
Another way to make it stop,
He'd think about a theme from a different show,
His favorite show is Cops,
His favorite show is Cops.

"Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?"
Oh no, oh no, he's made it even worse!
He's made it even worse than that Gilligan verse!

Now what, Now what, what's he gonna do?
What's he gonna do now that his brain is poo?
Oh yes, oh yes, a Rammstein video,
A Rammstein video and let everything go.

Dessen Wörter eines deutsche Metallbandes, die er nicht kennt,
A German metal band whose words he doesn't know,
Lassen Sie einfach das glatte Schleifen der Guitarren fließen,
Just let the smooth grind of the guitars flow,

Drücken Sie die Ampere, bis sie Schnellgang,
Push the amps until they're over-driven,
Unwissenheit hat seinen Leben Himmel gebildet,
Ignorance has made his life Heaven.
