Blue autumn leaves so slowly die, Sad leaves drift soft to the ground, Forlorn because my love has passed, Blue autumn leaves are falling down. She'd get psyched up on autumn's bliss, As oak leaves blazed in our front yard, Crimson plumes reached for the sky, Brilliant red as the Royal Guard. I still see her smile, hear her laugh, But I can't stop from feeling blue, My dearest dream was taken away, The clock still ticks, what can I do? This woeful year won't be the same, Memories of the love we shared, Oak leaves have sadly turned deep blue, Frozen still in the icy air. Blue autumn leaves so slowly die, Sad leaves drift soft to the ground, Forlorn because my love has passed, Blue autumn leaves are falling down.
