About This Author
A changeling spirit,
constantly evolving,
revolving around an inner core,
spinning forth legend and lore,
stories and lives
as I come to grips
with who and what I am,
have been and may be.
I am a phoenix:
rising ever above and beyond!

Aspect Juncture Granite garrote spanning not neck, but heart.
Fortress formed to bolster spine-- posture is everything.
Emotionless face must never be lost. Shar Peis guard, hunt boar
to feed guardians who defend against the untouchable.
Lone crane flies high overhead, safe from flung arrows. Nest on one side
yet sips sweet waters from the other. Her children fly free.
Globe wanderers traverse, passports tucked close, carrying quivers
of water bottles, Sharpie markers, and sunscreen. Battlements fight only time, erosion, graffiti.
No guardians for they have naught left to protect in a masked world. Tourist huddle
Traversing length but no one wants, now, to cross. Their side is preferred.
Lone crane cries high overhead. Arrows replaced by cameras should any look up.
None do, choosing vista over Emperor Clouds. Never seeing multitudes of lost children.
