A changeling spirit,
constantly evolving,
revolving around an inner core,
spinning forth legend and lore,
stories and lives
as I come to grips
with who and what I am,
have been and may be.
I am a phoenix:
rising ever above and beyond!

Whisked Away Whisked away
a flurry of excitement, anticipation
with a modicum of worry
stirred in for
tasks left behind.
A mixture of enjoyment--
time with her spouse
to explore and journey
in time together.
Whisked away
like a couple of eggs
on a yellow day:
An omelet of experience,
perhaps or
just a sunny-side-up
couple of hours.
Whisked away
with a bit of spice for added flavor--
special moments enjoyed,
remembered.
The to-do lists will wait;
stolen moments
captured are precious.
Whisked away
into a blender day
of adventures where
one simply enjoys
the feast.
