About This Author
Writing poetry allows me to exercise my imagination and share it with others. I strive to write for the benefit of the reader using carnival fun mirror images of my life's experiences.
Halloween's Army
Silence on Halloween at first glance,
Costume inspection, the black cats dance,
Monsters with empty treat bags advance.

Horrible fearfulness grows madder,
As if climbing a broken ladder,
"Attack!" commands Halloween's adder.

With costumes and masks straight out of hell,
Innocents covered, coldly compel,
Payment or curse upon where we dwell.
