Our Tomorrow’s Ushers Our Tomorrow’s Ushers
We couldn’t fathom what life would become
Without you, the world would be dumb
You are the source of one’s prosperous career
Dear Teachers, shall we say, “Our tomorrow’s ushers”.
You are candles burning yourselves to give us light
The winds that blow and push us on our flights
Trees that withstand the heat to give us shade
Parents to us, whose cares never fade.
You are as brilliant as gazillion lights
You brighten our paths, you vanquish our frights
You nourish us with knowledge; newfangled insights
You gear us to appear victorious on our fights.
We don’t know how you manage to carry such loads
Your task is enormous, responsibilities are broad
Molding individuals is never be a joke
Despite your goodness, we sometimes pulled your yoke.
Our words and praises would never suffice
But we are grateful; no less, no lies.
In time, we leave and travel a thousand mile
‘Tis only we can give, that will surely make you smile.
This is the day you must recall
Reminisce your great deeds for one and for all
And today is our chance to loudly say,
“Have a glorious and HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY!” |
