About This Author
Writing poetry allows me to exercise my imagination and share it with others. I strive to write for the benefit of the reader using carnival fun mirror images of my life's experiences.

I couldn’t look away from my reflection, Like fractured glass knowing only brokenness, Relying on my perfect imperfection, I fell behind an opaque mask of righteousness. Infected by splinters of authority, I couldn’t look away from my reflection, My psychopathic superiority, Was the soul of my rock and roll perception. As purchaser of insincere affection, Sincerity was never thought essential, I couldn’t look away from my reflection, Enamored by love's difference of potential. A major part of life is oft deficient, Of opinions that introduce objection, But I've found my response was most sufficient, When I didn't look away from my reflection. 16 Lines
