to forever ago. I remember when WDC turned five--
and every year since. Those growing years
that pass in a dot of an i.
One score-and-four years: Older than many
sites across that web, far better too.
Countess friends made across the globe
thousands of pieces read and reviewed.
Two dozen years; of learning and teaching,
watching writers stretch their creative chops.

Two-hundred and eighty-eight months
of contests, newsletters, and raffles galore,
badges earned, and awardicons won--
WDC is just SO much fun!
One-thousand-two hundred-and-fifty-two weeks
have given birth to books untold, a googol of poems galore.
Ports are brimming with a world to read
and, happily, there's still always more!
Eight-thousand-seven hundred-and-sixty days
of which I've logged at least seven-thousand-four-hundred-and-fifty-five.
I've rarely ever missed a day
and doubt I shall as long as I'm alive.
SO much time in this special place:
a family, a home, where I start every day.
