About This Author
I am a 40 year old married mother of two teenage boys. I live for writing, especially romance. Love the happily ever after scenerio. The best thing about writing for me is the ability to lose yourself in your work, and feel as if you've accomplished something great. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.
Election
Stuck between darkness and light,
That's how they saw their plight.

A circle filled in tight,
Your democratic right.

Freedom was on the line,
The scary ads do chime.

Billions spent to snare,
The unwittingly unaware.

Politicians' greedy fights,
Stripping away more rights.

Paid for by a PAC,
Morals they truly lack.

For it is all a game,
They should hide in shame.

Ego plods right on,
Elections are a con.
