About This Author
Well, hello. I’m still testing this.
On Gratitude
Gratitude doesn't come easily for me:
I tend to focus on the way things ought to be.

Counting blessings seems repetitive and vain
Wasting time to write the same things all again.

I take my health for granted, my family as well
But good can change so quickly—who can tell?

Why not pause and take a moment to remember
Life is precious every day, as well as in November.

So many people wish for what I already have:
I can smile, write, dream, contemplate and laugh.

Though life is never perfect, I must focus on the good
Giving thanks for everything as I know I should.

This helps me cultivate a better attitude;
I shouldn't go without a thought of gratitude.
