A Little South of Sanity
One look at the soldiers with barcodes between their shoulder blades, and Sergeant Anderson knew there was no going back. All he could do was pray that someone would grant him mercy, either in this life or the next. It would probably have to be the next, because Colonel Prescott was not a forgiving man... and he had explicitly requested the soldiers' barcodes on the backs of their necks. Trying to scan them everyday was going to be a real pain in the ass.
