This choice: The plane goes down in the triangle, Kanya rescues Josh  •  Go Back...
Chapter #6

The Island

    by: Ash
Kanya screamed as the plane started to rip in two just like in that Lost show she liked to watch. She heard Vito and Josh screaming as well and turned to them. Vito growled something uncomprehensible at Josh as they hit the water.

Kanya treded water easily for a few minutes and looked around trying to see if she could see Josh. She spotted him a few feet away but couldn't see Vito anywhere. She swam towards Josh and pulled him into her arms, telling him everything would be ok. She should have known better than that.

They were completly surrounded by thick fog, and there was nobody around but the two of them. Suddenly the fog began to clear and an island with a large sandy beach with mountains and a jungle came into view. All she could say was "Wow!"

"I can sw-swim Kanya," Josh whimpered wanting to be put down.

"Are you sure?" Kanya asked.

"Yes."

Kanya let Josh go and they swam towards shore. What seemed like hours later they arrived at the beach and laid down. Suddenly the sound of a barking dog reached their ears and they looked around wildly trying to see where it was. The barking stopped however and they could see nothing.

"Where are we?" Josh asked.

"I'm not sure Josh," Kanya replied.

"I'm cold."

"Me too."

There was nothing they could do about thier situation though and they both knew it.Suddenly they spotted a black bag floating in the water. Josh ran and pulled it out of the water.

Kanya and Josh crossed their fingers and then she opened the bag to find a whole bunch of food. They pulled it out hoping there was something besides food in it. They found a lighter, credit cards, and a large brown envelope. Kanya opened the envelope and smiled at all the green stuff she couldn't use on the island anyway.

Meanwhile, Riley watched through the trees as the first woman he'd seen in years grabbed the hand of her young male companion. They didn't look related. Where did they come from? He ventured out of the jungle and went to see what they were up to.

Kanya gasped at the sight of the gorgeous bronze man with no shirt or shoes on. Josh stood in front of her protectivly and asked the man what his business was.

Riley gave the boy a friendly smile and said,"Why don't yal come up to meet my family? You can get out of those wet clothes."

Kanya smiled back at the nice looking stranger with a sweet southern draul but Josh broke her from her thoughts and back to reality.

"NO!" Josh exclaimed evenly kicking the tall stranger in the shins. Hard.

Kanya cringed but it didn't seem to bother the gorgeous stranger one bit. She had to divert her gaze from his caring face and focus on what they were going to do. The man after her had been kind and caring when they first met, fixing her car when it broke down on the side of the road one rainy night. Then he'd taken her to a resturant and ordered her a hot meal.

"Ma'am?"

"Kanya?"

"Hmm?"

Kanya was pulled out of her memories by their voices and back to reality. The stranger asked if she wanted to come to his place again.

You have the following choices:

1. Go see where the stranger lives.

2. Decide to stay on the beach and burn all that money.
