Central International Airport
This choice: If Justin calls the mysterious number on his cell phone  •  Go Back...
Chapter #7

The Disease or The Cure?

    by: Unknown
Curious, Justin dialed the number from the sweater on his cell phone, absently plucking at a loose string in the seams. He was shocked when the call went through, and a phone rang on the other end of the line. Equally stunning was the sparkling jewel which fell from the hole in the seam where he had pulled the loose thread. Even more surprising than both of those events was the voice when the call was answered; it was that girl he had spoken to briefly in the check-out line, THAT girl... the fugitive!

"Hi, it's Kanya... I don't know how you got this number, but if if you're hearing this message, then you've probably got my life in your hands..." Justin palmed the crystalline blue stone and listened further...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Captain has asked that you extinguish all smoking materials and turn off all cellular and other electronic devices, return seat backs and tray tables to their uprght and locked positions..." the flight attendant's command meant that Justin's call would have to end, while the mystery of this girl was only just beginning.

Justin had big plans in Bermuda, grand dreams, world-changing ideas regarding his research; but, this girl, Kanya... she sounded so sincere: her life was now in his hands! He should have never gotten involved! He cursed himself and kicked the seat in front of him.

But, it was too late now, he was involved! No going back!
Or, did he have to go back? The plane had only just taxied away from the jetway, not onto the taxi-way, nowhere near the runway just yet.. he could probably deboard if he made enough fuss....

You have the following choices:

1. To make an effort to deboard the plane

*Noteb*
2. To continue to Bermuda any way

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
