Could it be that Raul already knew that she was gone? She steadied the glass on her hand. Her initial reaction was to just leave and board the first plane out of that place. But she knew Raul too well, she could travel the whole world, even hell and she knew that he would still find her if he wanted to. That's how insanely powerful he is.
Summoning all her courage she went up to the couple. If Raul already sent someone for her she might as well confirm it "so i'd be more carefull and cautious..." she tought. "Excuse me," she said to the couple who looked surprised "i cant help but overhear your conversation but -- i heard you say that some guy is asking around with my picture.." she asked the woman. "yeah... he said about looking for his wife..." Kanya felt as if blood was drained out of her face, the man offered her a seat "wh--how did he looked like?" "oh.. quite handsome man. black haired, gray eyes..." damn it! she tought.
Kanya was cursing silently as she walked quickly back to her hotel room. Altough the kind couple assured her that they will not tell anyone that they saw her still she had to find another place to hide. She knew Raul would sooner or later find out that she was gone, she had'nt expected though that he would find out this soon, worst is that she hadnt expected that he would acctually look for her himself!
Hands shaking as she tried to open her hotel room. Her mind is racing as to where to go next. She was scared and angry at he same time. Afraid that he had already found her and angry because maybe she was not carefull enough that he found her. She felt weird as she enter her room, something doesnt feel right.
Kanya turned around.... went still...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
