Central International Airport Chapter #6Room mishap solved by: Unknown The man had already jumped out of the bed while Jessica had talked and was putting on his pants.
"Let me call reception. I'm sure there must be some explanation for this."
While the man dialed the number Jessica sighed softly and rubbed her forehead feeling extremely tired. She shuffled back into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She was not going to stay wrapped in a hotel bathroom towel only.
When she came out a man in the uniform of the hotel was waiting for her at the entry of the room. As soon as she turned around the corner of the bedroom into the hall, wondering where the man had gone that she had found in the bed, the man cleared his throat slightly and began to appologise for what had happened.
"It's been a misunderstanding. I know you must be tired as i heared you have just flown in, so i will not bother you with the details. Things have been solved with the other couple and this room is now free for your use. Another member of the staff will come shortly with a fresh set of linnen and change your bed."
Jessica felt relieved that this mishap was solved quickly and that she didn't have to move her stuff to another room or another hotel again. She looked at her watch. 11.30. Even though she had slept on the plane she felt quite exhausted.
Must be the change of timezones, she thought.
She realised the man in the hotel uniform was still standing at the door. "Uh, she closed her eyes trying to think and sighed, okay that's, that's good. Thank you."
The man nodded and left the room. Jessica turned around and walked into the living area of the suite. She looked at herself being dressed again in the same clothes as she had travelled in and grunted. She now wished that she had just stayed in her bathroom towel. She dropped on the nice stylish sofa and stared at the ceiling. What a trip so far. She hoped she would reach Paris soon. Her eyes were heavy.
She yawned.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
