Hello, Richard ~ Less Mummy Like. aka Brennus!
INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

I enjoyed reading your blog post every time I read it, including today.

Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.
MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I read this "A Plethora of Acorns" blog post of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "November" file.

). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging.

I laughed out loud in the course of reading your "A Plethora of Acorns" blog post, and I smiled quite a bit. I also wondered if you have another plethora of acorns this year? And how you fared with the vacuum, if you really used it. I've not ever had to rake up acorns, just leaves, but I can imagine it would be difficult. Also, you could probably hire out some goats. Seriously.

I hear they eat almost anything, and acorns surely fit in the "anything" category.

I suspect that most people would find this blog post of yours humorous. Even a fairly serious person like me found it funny.

My favorite line was: "For $199.95, the GroundsGuys will come to your home with 200 trained squirrels, the squirrels will gather the acorns into tiny baskets, dump them into the GroundsGuys pickup, which will cart them off to the Local Squirrel Rescue Home." Because that's teh part that made me laugh out loud.

I thought you did a great job with the whole "A Plethora of Acorns" blog post. I love how you bring humor into your blog posts while sharing actual facts so it's hard to tell the difference but the reader is so engrossed she (or he) doesn't care.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes in your "A Plethora of Acorns" blog post.

I thought the activity and biographical genres you selected were appropriate for this "A Plethora of Acorns" blog post of yours.
IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done!
As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.
CONCLUSION:

I enjoyed reading your "A Plethora of Acorns" blog post and hope you have fewer acorns to deal with this year. Though the squirrels are probably hoping you have even more.

Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, sense of humor, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!
May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
