Summary of this Book...
THis is a novel about friendship between two girls (Tully & Kate ) that starts at 14 years old and goes for their whole lives (more or less). One is abandoned by her family for the most part and the other has a warm loving family. One is wildly successful and the other never quite figures out what she wants to do. In the end, one has a rich, full life, but not the one you might think.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who enjoys a story about friendship that makes for light reading.
I especially liked... | ||
Kate's parents. They take Tully in when she is abandoned by her mother. They save her. I loved that. I also liked the generational thing that spanned the period starting in 1974 because I remembered it well.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
cry and sob my eyes out. And, so I did.
This Book made me feel...
really sad at the end although I did not care for some of Tully's behaviors.
