Central International Airport "Hunny, the only coffee they had downstairs was decaf, so I had to run across the street to get us some real java," said a mysterious voice, coming in from the hallway.
She paused for a moment, taking in the fresh scene. Jessica stood in a towel with her hand on her hip looking extremely annoyed.
"What the hell are you doing here?" The woman asked angrily, holding two cups of coffee in her hands. She glanced at the man in the bed, shooting him and angry look.
"I don't know who you two are, or how we ended up in the same room, but I'm sure the hotel has something to say," Jessica said, trying to calm herself and the couple down.
"Yeah, they better have an explanation, damn London, baby, I knew we should have gone to Italy, its a hell of a lot nicer there," the man said, sitting up in the bed.
Jessica went to the phone and dialed the front desk's three digit number.
"Hello?" Asked a familiar voice.
"Yes, this is Jessica up in Suite 39. I believe it was you who took me up here. I came from the London airport and surprisingly there is a couple claiming they booked this room as well. And we are all a little confused up here," Jessica said as calmly and politely as she could.
"Ohh goodness, I am terribly sorry. Sophie must have already booked the place and not recorded it," she said sighing. "Jessica, I can understand your confusion, so why don't you come down to the front desk, and I will sort this thing out, so that you can have a nice night's sleep here in London."
"Alright then," Jessica said hanging up. "I'm sorry to disturb your stay, guys," Jessica said a little annoyed. She shouldn't have to apologize. "The lady at the front desk said she'd sort this mess out, so I'll be on my way." Jessica waved good-bye to the dumb-strucked couple, and shut the door on her way out. She heard the woman sigh as Jessica left.
She was a little more than annoyed now. But at least she had gotten a shower in before discovering there were other people in the hotel room. All she needed now was to be in Paris, or at least in an unoccupied bed.
The elevator door chimmed and opened up. Jessica was shocked to see six or seven police officers waiting impatiently by the front desk. The clerk looked scared and a little confused, as she glanced around the lobby. All the officers looked hopefully at the elevator once the doors opened. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
